What areas do you provide service?

We are the premier dog walking service in Rye, Port Chester, and Rye Brook, however we also service select areas of Harrison, Purchase, and Greenwich.

How do I get started?

What are your hours of operation?

P2W is a 365 days a years pet care and home care service. Our pet care hours are from 8:00 am – 9:00 pm, 7 days a week.

At busier times of the year, it is best to schedule in advance so we can accommodate your needs.

How do I schedule an appointment?

If you are an existing client, you can schedule an appointment through your account.

If you have not signed up with us, please fill out this quick form with your name & address and we’ll get in touch to get you set up.

How far in advance do I need to schedule my visit?

You can contact Pets2Walk at any time with your schedule. Requests made within 48 hours of your service will incur a $10 fee.

Do I need a meet & greet?

Meet and greets are not required but preferred.  If a client does not have available time prior to service needed Pets2Walk will be able to fulfill their duties from the clients profile on their account.

How do you enter my home?

Clients must provide a garage code, door code or lockbox for the key to be put on premise.

Will my pet have a regular sitter or walker?

For our Ongoing Clients, P2W assigns a few dedicated pet caregivers so your pet always sees a familiar face.

Our As Needed Clients are assigned well-trained and vetted pet caregivers, each focused on giving the best care to your pet, based on availability.

How will I know if my pet caregiver arrived?

Pets2Walk uses an online pet care app, Precise Pet Care, which stamps the arrival and completion time of each visit.

Will I be notified of how the visit went?

Clients will receive an email that journals of how the visit went along with photos of their pets. The journal will also include a GPS map of the walk route taken with your dog. 

Are you insured and bonded. Are your caregivers screened?

Pets2Walk is fully insured and bonded. Our pet caregivers are vetted and undergo a full screening with a background check before they are on boarded.

How would you handle an emergency?

If your pet needs immediate care, our pet caregiver will message you and P2W management right away to determine the best next steps.

Do I have to have weekly visits?

Scheduling Ongoing visits secures your consistent days and times in our weekly schedule; whereas, As Needed visits are accommodated when available.

Do you only do individual walks?

Pets2Walk specializes in solo walks; however, we have done small groups of 2-3 pups upon clients’ requests.

Tell me more about Vacation Visits

While you are away P2W does recommend 3 to 5 dog visits per day. Contact us so we can create the best schedule for your dog.

Are there any surcharges?

Nights include a $10 service fee. Saturday and Sunday visits from 8am – 6pm have an additional charge of $5.

There is a 50% surcharge for all holiday visits.

What happens if there is inclement weather?

P2W is open rain or shine. In the event of snow or heavy rain storms, we operate based on local school closings and federal mandates for the safety of your pets and our pet caregivers. 

What is your Cancellation policy?

There is a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within the 48 hours prior, you will be charged for the full visit.

Cancellations of any scheduled holiday service have a 7 day cancellation policy; cancellations made within 7 days prior to the service will result in a full charge for that service.

We reserve the right to change this policy at any time on a case-by-case basis due to excessive cancellations, etc.

When are invoices sent?

Invoices are sent on the last day of the month. 

How do I pay?

Clients must have a credit card on file for billing purposes. The credit card will be charged shortly after the invoice is sent. There is a 3% credit card processing fee that goes directly to the credit card company.
