What areas do you provide service?

We are the premier dog walking service in Rye, Port Chester, and Rye Brook, however we also service select areas of Harrison, Purchase, and Greenwich.

How do I get started?

New Clients need to contact pets2walk by phone at 914-804-7830 or send a message to info@pets2walk.com with your name & address and we would love to get you set up.

Do I need a meet & greet?

Meet and greets are not required but preferred.  If a client does not have available time prior to service needed Pets2Walk will be able to fulfill their duties from the clients profile on their account.

What are your hours of operation?

Our pet care hours are from 8:00 am – 9:00 pm. Office hours are from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Clients are able to message the office at anytime however they will be attended to during the office hours.

What is p2w availability?

P2W is a 365 days a years pet care and home care service, with additional fees on holidays. Our list of holidays are the following with a 50% service fee.

At busier times of the year, it is best to schedule in advance so we can accommodate your needs.

How do I schedule an appointment?

If you are an existing client, you can schedule an appointment through your account.

How far in advance do I need to schedule my visit?

You can contact Pets2Walk at any time with your schedule, however we do have a 24 hr same day service fee of $10. If you do require a same day visit, we will do our best to accommodate you.

How do you enter my home?

Clients can provide a garage code, door code or clients can purchase lockboxes for the key to be put on premise. There is a one time fee of $30 for the lockbox. If you have keyless entry, the lockbox is not required.

Will my pet have a regular sitter or walker?

We strive to establish consistency by assigning the same dog walkers to your home, however we do have back up when your regular walker is unavailable.

How will I know if my dog walker arrived?

Pets2Walk uses an online pet care portal, Precise Pet Care. Clients have the ability to review the schedule which will show when your sitter begins the walk and completes the walk. Upon Completion, the sitter will send the client a journal that informs of what happened at the visit along with photos of your pets.

Are you insured and bonded. Are your walkers screened?

Pets2Walk is fully insured and bonded. Our walkers are vetted and undergo a full screening with a background check before they are on boarded.

How would you handle an emergency?

P2W will first contact the owner and / or their emergency contact on how to proceed with the necessary steps to get your pet immediate care. All veterinaries should have a note in their file that P2W can bring in the clients pet for care. All pertinent info will be stored on your pet care profile.

Do I have to have weekly visits?

No, you can schedule visits with us as needed.

Do you only do individual walks?

We specialize in solo walks. We also do small group walks of up to 3 dogs upon clients requests.

Do you recommended a minimum amount for visits of pet care?

While you are away P2W does recommends 3 to 5 visits per day. However each pet may have different needs in which our team can assist you on creating the best schedule for your pet.

Are there any night or weekend surcharges?

Nights & weekends include a $5 service fee. The weekend evenings, Friday, Saturday and Sunday will have an additional charge of $5.

What is your Cancellation policy?

Clients can cancel at any time, however there is a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within the 24 hours prior there is the full visit fee. Clients can cancel by logging into your pet care profile and request cancellation on the scheduled visit.

What happens if there is bad weather/inclement weather?

We operate rain or shine. P2W will do everything in our power to get to your home, however if there is an issue we will contact you to discuss.

When are bills sent?

Billing occurs at the end of the month. P2W will send the bill at the end of the month or beginning of the following month.

How to pay?

Clients must have a credit card on file for end of month billing. The credit card will be charged within the following 24 hours of the bill being sent. There is a 3% credit card fee that goes directly to the credit card company.
